Bang Fitness is pleased to announce the winners of its MMA scholarship.
The details:
The scholarship will provide those selected with complete strength and conditioning training at Bang Fitness.
Each athlete will be assessed before the program begins. We’ll be charting progress carefully and posting periodic updates on our blog so members can see what’s going on.
The whys:
We wanted to find fighters who had a lot to gain by a strong strength and conditioning program. This is a chance for Bang Fitness to demonstrate why it’s a great destination for athletes and our fighters to demonstrate just how far they can go.
The winners:
Claude Patrick – Claude’s talent is evidenced by his 9-1 MMA record. He’s expected to move onward and upward through the MMA world.
Robin Black – Initially considered for his haircut alone, Robin has proven himself to be a hard-working and dedicated fighter. Losing his first two pro fights, this former glam rocker came back to win decisively. Now looking at a title shot, this bantamweight continues to improve every aspect of his game.
Vanja Vojvodic – The youngest of the group, Vanja has been training in BJJ since the age of 16. He also brings wrestling and boxing to the mix as a well-rounded fighter with a 2-0 MMA record. Vanja’s great attitude and work ethic catapulted him above more experienced fighters to garner the scholarship.
Wagnney Fabiano – Wagnney is one of the top featherweights in the world with a 12 and 1 record in MMA. He is a third degree black belt in BJJ, holding too many awards and accolades to mention. He is a bad, bad man.
The updates
We’ll be updating the blog periodically with news and photos of our sponsored athletes. Please stay tuned.
